Welcome to Berowra Waters |
Set on the old Pacific Highway, Berowra presents the northern gateway
to Sydney. Surrounded by one of Australia's oldest and best-known
national parks - Ku-ring-gai Chase - Berowra is strategically located
just off the F3 Freeway and is adjacent to the main northern railway
line. With spectacular parks to the east, the Berowra Valley Regional
Park to the west, and the mighty Hawkesbury River to the north, this
northern Hornsby Shire suburb is superbly placed to enjoy Sydney at its
natural bushland and aquatic best. The bushland waterway of Berowra
Waters is only a few minuets drive away and hosts a variety of
first-class restaurants and cruise options in an unrivalled setting. A
tributary to Berowra Creek, Crosslands Creek, which is accessible only
from the southern approach from the south through Somerville Road, is a
haven for mud crabs which scavenge among the leaf-litter at low tide.
The Crosslands reserve is generously equipped with barbecue and picnic
facilities.
This site is a comprehensive guide to the services, facilities, people, history and environment of the Berowra Waters Region of New South Wales Australia. It is managed by the Berowra Community as a showcase of the lifestyle and offerings in the region.
